Deception Valley Lodge
Accommodation consists of five private twin units, each with a bedroom, lounge and a Victorian style bathroom with an outside shower. Each unit has a deck where you can sit and gaze at the vastness of the Kalahari bush, stretching for miles in front of you.

To feel the pulse of the Central Kalahari, guests go on a game drive and track wildlife in open four wheel drive vehicles or take to the bush on foot with traditional dressed bushmen. These bushmen trackers introduce guests to traditional hunting and survival skills as well as the culture and crafts of one of Africa’s oldest cultures.

On afternoon and night drives, guests can expect to see a variety of Kalahari game including leopard, cheetah, giraffe, kudu and if lucky, the evasive brown hyena. The Deception Valley area is a bird lover’s paradise and among the most prolific in the region: find small finches to huge vultures.
