Serra Cafema Camp
Other facilities include a small swimming pool, dining room and bar. Activities include enjoying the breath-taking landscape scenes with herds of springbok, ostrich and even leopard. We traverse the sand dunes on 4x4 safaris and boat on the Kunene River where we can watch for the Kunene crocodiles and look for Southern Africa’s rarest bird, the Cinderella Waxbill. Walking trails in the remote mountain and river valleys are also a highlight.  Serra Cafema is often visited by the native Ovahimba families who live in the nearby vicinity that gives guests the opportunity to learn about their lifestyle and traditions.
