Londolozi
The lounge and dining area at Bateleur
Camp offer awe-inspiring views of the Sand River and exude the warmth and hospitality
of the Londolozi legacy. Four rondavels, which date back to the original Sparta
Hunting Camp, are a special feature. One has been turned into a traditional
bedroom and the others have been converted into a museum, a well-stocked wine
cellar and an Internet centre. Historical photographs of the Sabi Sand Game
Reserve and family portraits add to the congenial atmosphere of the spacious
deck, which incorporates an ancient Ebony Tree. There is a swimming pool, a
large boma (reeded enclosure) and an excellent curio shop/gallery.
