Lynton
Hall
The
culinary creations of Lynton Hall are inspired by its proximity to the Indian
Ocean and the property's traditional connections with Colonial India. The cooking
philosophy of the movement initiated by Five Star Master Chef, Richard Carstens,
first incumbent of the Hall's historic kitchen since its conversion, has served
as the custodian of thisinspiration, and is expressed in an avant-garde New
World style where the emphasis is on flavour, texture and individuality, each
dish carrying the signature of his energy and passion.
The accommodation is renowned for its nine incomparably styled superior suites
all equipped with state-of-the-art sound system, airconditioning, heated towels
rails, free standing baths and a choice of fireplaces. Each suite is individually
decorated in the Indian Colonial style which characterised the Sugar industry
of KwaZulu in the late 1800's, and includes a telephone, TV (with DSTV) and
mini-bar.
